An envelope will appear in the bottom right-hand corner on your video phone screen when you have a video mail message. You can retrieve your messages by pressing the "MAIL" button on your video phone, and you can even use a standard phone to hear the audio portion of the message.

Even though some of us are never far away from a ringing phone-whether we like it or not-there are times when we're simply not available to answer a call. That's when you need dependable video and voice mail from ACN. You'll be able to retrieve your messages online, get e-mail notifications of new messages, and access your mail box by calling from home or remotely

All you have to do is press the "MAIL" button on your video phone. Your messages at right at your fingertips!

Caller ID

Screening calls may get a bad rap, but sometimes it's a necessary evil. The Caller ID feature allows you to see who's calling you before you pick up the phone. It'll even save the number, time and date if you choose not to answer.

Stay a step ahead of whoever's calling you!

Call Forwarding

If you're going to be away from a certain line for any length of time, you may want to have your calls forwarded to a different number. By supplying alternate phone numbers, you can receive calls and voice mail messages in real-time with the Call Forwarding feature. You can even prioritize multiple alternate numbers or have all alternate lines called simultaneously with the Simultaneous Ring function.

All you have to do to forward your calls is dial *72, then the phone number to which you would like all your calls forwarded, followed by the # button. Simply dialing *73 will turn this feature off. Customize this option by setting up different rules for forwarding calls when you're already on the line or when there is no answer.

Audio Conferencing

Get your message out quickly and efficiently by taking advantage of the highly useful Audio Conferencing feature. Save the time that is wasted by making multiple calls by join other parties to your line to share pertinent information.

Call Return/Last Number Redial

Whether you want to nab a crank caller or reconnect to your most recent call, the Call Return feature lets you automatically dial the phone number of your last incoming call-even if you didn't answer it.

Just pick up the phone and dial *69, and your digital phone service will dial the number of your last incoming call for you. Or, if you want to call the last number you dialed yourself, just press *66 and ACN will get you connected again with the Last Number Redial function.

Call Waiting

The frustration that goes along with missing a call because you're already on the line is a thing of the past when you use the Call Waiting feature. A series of beeps will alert you to another incoming call, allowing you to transfer back and forth between the calls.

After the "Incoming Call Signal" beeps audibly, you'll receive the Caller ID information of the second call on your display. You can put your current call on hold by pressing "1" and accept the incoming call, or you can reject the second call by pressing "2," which sends a "busy" tone signal to the second caller. After ending the second call, simply press the "HOLD" button to reconnect to your original caller (if they're forgiven you!).

Speed Dial

You can get connected to the people you call most even more quickly by using the Speed Dial feature. Just designate a single digit to represent the full phone number, and save time that could be better spent catching up to your friends and family members!

Programming the number is as simple as entering *74, followed by the one-digit number you would to enter. Next, enter the number you want to associate with that speed dial, followed by the # key on your phone. For example, to assign speed-dial code 2 with the number 704-555-1212, dial *74 2 7045551212, then press the # key. A message will inform you that the operation has succeeded. To call the person, just enter their corresponding one-digit speed-dial code and press #.

Enhanced and Basic 911

In the interest of your safety and that of your family, ACN digital phone service proudly supports both E911 (enhanced 911) and Basic 911. Unfortunately, E911 is not available in certain areas of the country; in those areas, we provide Basic 911 service. We will notify you of which type of 911 service you have during the sign-up process, then we'll follow up with a confirmation e-mail to your message inbox upon completion of your order.

After you've created your ACN Digital Phone Service account, it's easy to order a virtual phone number. Simply log in to your account; click on "Features and Services"; select "Add-Ons"; and click on "Add Virtual Phone Number." You'll be able to choose your new virtual number from any available area code.

Add a Line

How would you like to add a second line to your account and enjoy the convenience of a single bill? For an affordable addition to your monthly fee, you can have two lines with unlimited calling to the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

Ordering a second line is simply once you have created your ACN Digital Phone Service account. Just log in to your online account; click on "Features and Services"; select "Add-Ons"; and then click on "Add New Telephone Number."

If you would like to order more than two lines per account, you will need an additional phone adapter. Follow the steps above, then click on "Order New CPE Devices" and follow the supplied instructions.
