Demonstration
(with Router)
This is a quick demonstration on how
to set up your IRIS 3000 Videophone.
For complete, step-by-step
instructions, or instructions on how
to set up without a router, please refer to
the Quick Installation Guide.

Your video phone comes with the
main unit, handset, power adapter,
Ethernet cable and telephone cable.
Step 1: Simply connect the handset
to the main unit.
Step 2: Connect one end of the
blue Ethernet cable to the blue
WAN port on the back of your video
phone and the other end to an
open Ethernet port on your router.
Make sure your computer is
connected to another port on your
router or via an existing Wireless
connection.
Step 3: Connect the power adapter to the power port on the back of your video phone and then plug into an
electrical outlet.
Step 4: Turn your video phone power switch to ON. Once your phone is setup and ready to use, the register
light on the front of your video phone will turn green.
NOTE: The phone’s first boot up may take up to 30 minutes. The system will perform an initial software update and
provision the phone as part of this boot up process. Please allow ample time for the first boot up. The phone’s LCD
screen will display a status as it moves through the process. On completion, the phone’s registration light will turn
green. Please do not press any keys or try to make a call until the registration light turns green. Interrupting the
registering process can cause damage to your video phone.
Now you are ready to make and receive calls in a whole new way! This will change everything!
Basic Functions

Make a Call
To make a call, simply pick
up the
handset or press SPEAKER. Dial
the phone number and press
CALL.
Receive a Call
When you hear your video phone
ring, the video phone screen will
display the name and phone
number of the person calling. To
answer,
pick up the handset or
press SPEAKER.
Rejecting a Call
Simply press the # button and the
incoming call will be sent directly to
your
voice mail box.
Ending a Call
To end your call, hang up the handset or if you are in speaker mode, press SPEAKER.
Key Buttons
Don't want the other person to hear you? Just press MUTE on the front of your video phone. To release mute,
press MUTE again. The PRIVACY button keeps your image from being seen by the other caller. Instead they will
see the ACN logo. To release privacy, simply press PRIVACY. To place a caller on hold, press HOLD. The caller will
see a black screen. To release, press HOLD again. To activate SPEAKER, press SPEAKER to deactivate simply pick
up the handset. Press REDIAL to call the last number you dialed.
Volume and Brightness Control
To adjust the volume or brightness of the screen during a call, press MENU and select either VOLUME or
BRIGHTNESS
CONTROL. Use the arrow keys to adjust.
Main Menu
To access MAIN MENU items press MENU on the front of your video phone, use the arrows keys and select your
category: PHONEBOOK allows you to access your personal contacts. To view your most recent calls, select CALL
LOG.
The SETTINGS menu accesses a variety of settings including Time, Sound and Display Settings. The Time
Setting menu
allows you to set the time parameters. Select the SOUND Menu to set your ringtones, ring volume,
sound volume and
more. The DISPLAY menu accesses the Video Output, Screen Brightness, Wallpaper and Digital
Photo Frame settings.
DIGITAL PHOTO FRAME lets you view your favorite photos whenever you want. Select
INFORMATION to find out specific
information regarding your video phone including your phone number.
As you can see, your ACN IRIS 3000 Videophone is as easy to use as a traditional phone, but is much
more fun!

Digital Photo Frame

With the IRIS 3000, you can view
your favorite photos whenever you
want!
View Images
Step 1: To view your photos on
your video phone, insert a USB
Drive into the back of your video
phone or insert a SD Card into the
side of your video phone. Press
MENU, select Digital Photo Frame
and press OK.
Step 2: Select View Another Picture and choose to view your photos either from a USB drive or SD Card. Select the
photo you want to see and press OK. Scroll through the pictures on your device by selecting Previous Picture or
Next Picture.
Setup Digital Photo Frame
Step 1: From the Main Menu, select Settings and then System Settings. Next, select Display.
Step 2: Scroll down to Digital Photo Frame and select ON, then change the Digital Photo Frame Delay to your
desired speed. Choose from 10, 15 or 20 seconds. (The larger your photos, the more delay you will need to
allow them to load.) Press BACK and save your changes.
Now, you can display your favorite pictures and relive your most cherished moments right on your
ACN IRIS 3000™ Videophone!

The IRIS 3000 comes with a factory
optimal bandwidth setting. If the
screen is not as clear as you would
like, you can adjust the bandwidth of your video phone by following these simple steps:
Step 1: Press MENU and select Settings, System Settings and Display.
Step 2: From the Display menu, scroll down to Upload Bandwidth and adjust to give you the best video picture.
Choose from 128, 256, 384 or 512kbps.
Step 3: Select Frame Rate and adjust your frame rate to Low, Normal or High to optimize your video picture.
Step 4: Press the BACK button and save your changes.
Now you are ready to experience calling in a whole new way!
