Order Process
How do I do an order online?
Simply choose the Satellite TV tab on your main product page for myacn.com and follow the instructions. At the beginning of the order process, you will be asked to enter your ACN Representative’s Team ID Number. Please note that if you have had an account registered with DIRECTV in the past, you will need to contact DIRECTV to find out if you are eligible for promotional offers. If you have any questions, regarding this process, please call DIRECTV at 800-653-1730.

How do I call for to place an order?
Call 1-800-653-1730. At the beginning of the call, you or your customer will be asked to press ‘1’ if you know your Team ID Number or press ‘2’ if you do not know you Team ID number. If you know your Team ID Number, you will be asked to enter your number. Once you enter in your Team ID Number, the system will feed that number back and ask for confirmation. That number is then attached to your order and a live Customer Care agent will answer the phone.
If you or your customer does not know the Team ID, a live Customer Care agent will answer the phone and the order will go through. An exception report will be generated which has sales with either no ACN Team ID Number or an incorrect ACN Team ID Number. Representative Services will work though those exceptions.
Customers must be present (or on the phone line) at the time of the sale or to make any changes to their account.

Can I do all orders online?
Most orders can be completed online, but for more complex orders, international programming or other ala carte services, you will want to call to complete your order.

When do offers expire?
ACN DIRECTV promotional offers will expire on the day specified at 12:01am (EST) on the website and 1:01 am (CST) by phone.

Why is there a credit check?
DIRECTV provides expensive equipment with each install and as such, requires a credit check on each customer as part of the normal process.

I have good credit but did not pass. Who can I talk to about this issue?
DIRECTV controls the credit levels and uses nationally recognized service to perform the credit check and to provide the credit score. Virtually all individuals can sign-up for DIRECTV service. The credit check will tell us whether you may be required to provide a deposit.

If I can’t pass credit online, can I call to see if I will pass?
The credit check process is the same regardless of how the order is placed. You should not try again with the same information and expect a different result.
