Porting Existing Numbers


Can I keep my current wireless phone number?

Yes, during the order process, you will see a “Switch my existing wireless number to my new phone” check box. Simply click this box and fill-in your wireless phone number, carrier name, account number, and your name as it is displayed on your current wireless phone bill. ACN Wireless® will automatically port your wireless number from your current carrier to a different carrier. ACN cannot accommodate porting numbers to the same carrier.

Can I port a landline (local telephone number for my home) to an ACN Wireless® account?

Yes. Simply click the check box titled “Switch my wireless phone number to my new phone” and provide the required information for your home phone number. You will need to provide your home phone number, your phone company, your account number and the name as it appears on your home phone bill.

How long will porting (switching) my wireless phone number take?

If you wish to keep your current wireless phone number, you can port it to your new wireless phone. While a typical order only takes up to 48 hours to fulfill (plus shipping time), a port may take 3+ days to complete. However, most ports occur within 1 to 3 days (plus shipping time).

Will there be a period of time during the porting process that I am without service?

No. In the case of a port, ACN Wireless® will not activate your new phone for 5 days unless you call to have it activated when you receive it. This will ensure you are never without service. To activate your phone earlier, follow the instructions provided in your equipment shipment.
